Management Team


Sharon Geary – Responsible individual, has 17 years experience working in both residencial and domiciliary care at various times. Sharon is currently undertaking BA Hons in social care  at Canterbury Christchurch University, and is also registered with General Social Care Council (GSCC)

Toni Reid - Registered Manager has over 11yrs experience in domiciliary care. Toni started working as a care assistant and has progressed through her dedication to her care work. Toni's qualifications include: NVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, NVQ level 4 Registered Manager, OCR level 4 Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process (I.V), OCR level 3 Assessing Candidates.

 

Our Care Team


  • All of our staff are interviewed by a senior member of the management team, references obtained and have enhanced Criminal Records Bureau checks carried out.

  • All our staff complete the company induction program which includes mandatory training

  • All are shadowed by a senior member of staff as part of their induction.

  • All Staff receive regular supervision and company appraisal.

  • No agency staff are used by Helping Hand Care Company Ltd

 

Our staff work to the regulatory Codes of Practice including the General Social Care Council.

  • First aid awareness

Specialist training includes

  • Challenging behaviour awareness

  • Autism and Aspergers

  • Epilepsy

  • Diabetes

  • Parkinson’s

  • Grief and bereavement

 

All our members of staff are offered NVQ level 2 training within 6 months of starting with Helping Hand Care Company LTD

 

Office opening times 9.00am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday.

We operate an out of hour’s service where we can be contact on the same number.
